~Monkey-World is all about the Monkeys or Primates and we want to show it off. Hopefully we're not just a community but we also can be part of foundation "Save The Monkeys". As we say, we really do love Monkeys, that's why we want to save and protect them.
We welcome all forms of artwork.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
You can submit ONE deviations per week to the Community Collections. We count each of your deviations for sure 
Submissions to our Collections should be sent in a note with subject “Monkey Collection”.
If you are sending us a stock photo for submission, please send us a note with subject “Monkey Stock” because we will put it in different collection.
And if you are sending us an ARTICLE, then please send us a note with subject “Monkey Article” and we will put it in our journal linked to your work.
Collections Submissions sent without these details will be ignored.

The Proboscis Monkey by *Mahenks
The Proboscis Monkey (Nasalis larvatus), also known as the Monyet Belanda (in Malay), the Bangkatan (in Indonesian) or simply the Long-nosed Monkey, is a reddish-brown arboreal Old World monkey that is endemic to the south-east Asian island of Borneo. It belongs in the monotypic genus Nasalis, although the Pig-tailed Langur traditionally also has been included in this genus - a treatment still preferred by some.
Due to ongoing habitat loss and hunting in some areas, only about 7000 are known to still exist in the wild. In Sarawak, the population of this species has declined from 6500 in 1977 to only 1000 in 2006. Read more: [link] Video : [link]
Hmmans VS Chimps Memory Test by ~supridiot
Until now, it had always been assumed that chimps could not match humans in memory and other mental skills. is it True? Then, the experiment was set, to test the memory skills of chimps.
During the experiment, each subject was presented with various numerals from one to nine on a touch screen monitor. The numbers were then replaced with blank squares and the test subject had to remember which number appeared in which location, then touch the appropriate square.
They found that, in general, the young chimps performed better than their mothers and even better than adult humans. The university students were slower than all of the three young chimpanzees in their response. The researchers then varied the amount of time that the numbers appeared on-screen to compare the working memory of humans and chimps. Chimps performed much better than university students in speed and accuracy when the numbers appeared only briefly on screen.
